Aitken Spence Travels, representing the enchanting Sri Lanka, recently took part in the ‘Mujib’s Bangladesh Tourism Promotion and B2B Exchange program’.
This notable event, organized by the Bangladesh Tourism Board, spanned from the 26th to the 29th of May 2023.
With a total of 97 tour operators in attendance, including 52 from India, 19 from Sri Lanka, 14 from Bhutan, and 12 from Nepal, the program facilitated fruitful interactions with 125 tour operators, tourism service providers, and airlines from Bangladesh. The primary objective was to explore avenues for attracting tourists from each respective country to Bangladesh, and vice versa. This diverse group of participants highlights the growing interest and collaboration within the tourism industry in the region.
The event provided an excellent platform for exchanging ideas, fostering networking opportunities, establishing partnerships, and showcasing the immense tourism potential of Bangladesh and its neighboring countries.
