Sri Lanka Tourism welcomes leading South Indian Mega movie star Mammootty who is in the island to shoot an episode of his latest Netflix series

Muhammad Kutty Panaparambil Ismail, known mononymously as Mammootty has appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English-language productions with a career spanning five decades with over 400 films to his credit.

Predominantly popular as an Indian actor and film producer who works in Malayalam films, this mega star will position Sri Lanka as much sought-after Film location destination in South Asia.

He is the recipient of several accolades, including three National Film Awards, seven Kerala State Film Awards, and thirteen Filmfare Awards South.
