From 1st of August Arrival Procedure for Sri Lankans will be same as for Foreigners Minister of Industrial Exports and Investment Promotion, Tourism and Aviation Prasanna Ranathunga said to the Media.
Government expects to repatriate those stranded Sri Lankans from foreign countries as soon as possible & they hope to open the airport after they finish repatriation flights, He added.
The quarantine procedures will continue for those repatriating Sri Lankans & Sri Lankans arriving after airport opening should provide with PCR test results. Relevant Authorities will monitor passengers with positive test results until they finish their stay in Sri Lanka.
