The Sri Lanka Tourism is in the process of finalizing the safety protocol which will come into effect with the planned opening of restaurants, hotels, and the airport.
As a gradual process of opening up normalcy in the country, restaurants and hotels will be opened first for domestic tourist for dine in’s and holidaying. This is expected to ready these business for travelers and visitors following the utmost for health and safety standards in the best interest of its visitors as well as the business establishments. The Bandaranayke International Airport (BIA) is expected to be opened for international flights by the 1st of August 2020.
