Visitors to the stall were welcomed and escorted by a Sri Lankan traditional dance troupe. The event was ceremonially opened by Acting High Commissioner to Malaysia Majintha Jayasinghe. The event was done in collaboration with the Sri Lanka High Commission in Malaysia. The Sri Lankan stall was visited by many interested visitors who were keen to experience the Sri Lankan culture and heritage, which was combined with the variety of opportunities Sri Lanka had to offer as a travel destination.
