As part of wooing Indian tourists post-Easter Sunday attacks, the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau held an interactive session between a Sri Lankan delegation and the key players of travel trade in western India at the ITC hotel, Mumbai. The event was graced by Jacqueline Fernandez, a popular Sri Lankan actress in Bollywood who urged Indian people to visit Sri Lanka. “Sri Lanka is my homeland. I have spent some of my most beautiful and fondest memories and holidays over there. It is absolutely safe to go back there right now. We really would love your continued support for Sri Lanka,” she said.
