This year’s SATA winners were announced in a glamorous Gala held at the Equator Village in Addu, Maldives. Nominees from India, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives were in attendance at the event. As the host country, Maldives won awards for Leading Honeymoon, Leading Diving and Leading Beach Award, while India bagged the Leading Heritage and Leading MICE Destinations. Sri Lanka took the Leading Surfing destination and Nepal claimed the robust Leading Adventure Destination
